Why Performance Horses

Horses carry muscle tension, myofascial restriction, and compensation patterns that build quietly under the demands of training, hauling, and competition, and show up in how they perform. Your vet addresses lameness. Your farrier addresses the feet. Your chiropractor addresses joint alignment. I address what connects it all.

I work with owners and trainers at their facilities across San Antonio and the Hill Country, built around their barn schedule. The trainers and owners I work with hold a high standard of care, so every plan reflects what's actually going on with their horse, not a generic template, whether that's targeted work on a specific issue, ongoing maintenance, or an event tune-up.

Ashley's Story

Raised Around Horses,
Trained to Read Them

“I spent my childhood on my family's ranch in Guatemala, and I could tell when a horse wasn't right long before I had any real words for it. That never really left me. After moving to Texas, I stayed around horses any way I could: volunteering at therapy centers and rescues, taking lessons, and reading everything horse-related I could get my hands on.

Training in equine bodywork gave me the technique and the language to actually do something with what I'd always been noticing. I found this work later than I expected to, but once I did, it was the first time something actually felt like it fit. I keep training and keep studying, because every horse still teaches me something.

I'm a life-long student of the horse. That's not a tagline. It's how I show up for every horse I work on.
